There was Three differnt parts of Lodz Ghetto. Two of the major places that passed through but did not belong to the Jewish District. Barbed wire and wooden fences were prevented access to this area. Only the jews were allowed to travel the main roads of the Ghetto.They could use staircases and ad wooden bridges.
Almost one third of the population was Jewish people. The Jewish people in Lodz were forced to do labor with no pay. There were about 100 factories and most of them were for creating the German army uniforms. People who lived in the ghetto had to deal with the horendous living conditions which consited of no running water or a sewage system.
